For those of you who haven't guessed it already, I am in love with the Clintons. I remember in 1991, I was really young, and I was totally gung-ho for him. He played the saxaphone, he was energetic, and he was just cool. Then, about the time I was in jr. high, I was a ferocious supporter of Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. The whole deal was part of a conservative attack-machine trying to bring the Clintons down. Hillary called it a conspiracy, but I disagree. A conspiracy is clandestine; this was blatant and hideously partisan. It is unfathomable, the level of hatred, directed towards them. 100 million dollars was spent trying to bring him down and it was all for not. For such a group of people that claim to be Christian, they acted and behaved in ways very un-Christian like. It was dispicable, really. So, as Clinton was leaving, the world supported him more than it has supported any previous President, and Clinton enjoyed a higher approval rating than most Presidents. Now, it is safe to say that Clinton is the most popular human being on the face of the planet because of his Global Initiative Foundation, which does a lot to improve the quality of life for people all around the world. I am super exctied that he will potentially be back in the White House in 2009. He will do a significant amount of repair to anti-American sentiment in the world, and he and his wife will do much to restore America's moral authority. Plus, I'm excited to see Republicans collectively shit a brick when he's back in the White House!
